Drugstore finds: The top 5 nude Lipsticks for Olive/Indian Skin that won’t pale You out

Are you too always looking for that perfect nude Lipstick? I remember when the nude lipstick trend came in a few years ago (thank you Kim K), I didn’t have a single one in my vanity and while trying out new lipsticks at stores I thought to myself, ‘I’m never getting one of those, it makes me look so pale’.

A lot of nude lipsticks that came out, in the beginning, were too light for me, but in the past few years, I’ve discovered few amazing lip shades that make my face pop without the red and pink tones. If you are looking for nude lipsticks that won’t break your bank, here they are:

1. Elf Cosmetics Liquid Matte Lipstick – € 6,99

Shade: Praline

The texture of this lipstick feels luxe on the lips which I absolutely love. I love the formula and velvety feel of this lipstick that doesn’t feel drugstore at all.

2. NYX Lip Lingerie Lipcream – €7,89

Shade: Seduction

I love the brown undertone that this lipstick has. Perfect all-year round shade. I love the formula, so pigmented and creamy.

3. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick – € 8,99

Shade: Soloist

I love the shades this range has and there is definitely a shade in there for everyone. It is extremely long lasting but the texture of certain shades can be unappealing.

4. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream – € 6,85

Shade: Montreal

The NYX Soft Matte has one of the most comfortable formulations that sits wonderfully on your lips. It probably doesn’t last as long as the others but this pinkish nude is definitely worth a try.

5. Trend IT UP Contour & Glide Lipliner – € 1,65

Shade: 430

Trend IT UP is a home brand of DM and I believe is only available here in Germany.

This is my go-to lipliner and also works perfectly on its own. Oh, and the formulation is superb! Stock up on these the next time you are at DM, because they can sell out quickly.

2. NYX Lip Lingerie Lipcream

3. Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipstick

4. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

5.  Trend IT UP Contour & Glide Lipliner

If you have a nude lipstick that pales you out, you can always use a bright lip liner first and then apply the nude lipstick. I wear this Trend IT UP lipliner before applying my nude lipsticks. It also looks great on its own and it is also what I wear when I have to quickly head out to the Supermarket or pick the kids up from school.

Have you tried any of these lipsticks? Which one would you try first?

Do let me know if you have any other suggestions!
