Shrimp Saganaki is an authentic Greek dish with a savory Tomato sauce, lots of crumbled Feta, and melt in the mouth shrimp. It is so easy and quick to put together and it leaves your home smelling like a Greek oasis. No kidding, you can’t make this up.
There are a lot of different ways to make this dish, I’m sharing one that I did using mostly staple ingredients that are always available in my kitchen. Serve it on any crusty bread. I use Ciabatta or the normal brötchen from the supermarket. I serve this to my children with rice, and if there is any leftover, I have it with Quinoa the following day. Mmmh delicious!

Greek-style Shrimp Saganaki

- 10 gm fresh Oregano chopped
- 2-4 Ciabatta/Brötchen/Baguette warmed in the Oven
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tsp Chilli Flakes
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Sugar a pinch
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 200°C. Put the bread in the Oven for 6-7 minutes.

- Combine everything and cover. Let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame.
- At this point you should see the oil appear at the top, now add the shrimp and combine.
- Cover and let it cook for 3-4 minutes. Now add the rest of the Oregano and crumble ¾ Feta cheese over the Sauce.
- Give it a mix and take it off the Herd immediately.
- Serve onto plates with Bread. Drizzle Olive Oil on the warm bread. Garnish with the remaining Feta Cheese.
- Enjoy this tiny bit of Greek Heaven.
